The furniture company is a fairly new venture, turning 1 year old in April 2009, with an aim to making beautiful handmade pieces of furniture and decor pieces, using mostly local timber from well managed and sustainable resources. We hope to keep our sights set on good strong relationships with old and new customers, influenced by a healthy relationship between our fantastic staff in the factory and ourselves.

Our potential to grow can only be determined by the continual output of a good quality product and honesty. To the best of our ability, we strive to interpret drawing and pictures supplied by our customers. The Midlands is a beautiful place to work from and the ethos of the Meander is what has been confirmed in our own experience, namely that we need reminding of how fortunate we are to be alive, and the (almost desperate at times) need to consciously slow down, breath, look around and make an effort to make space in our often busy lives and minds for friends, family, those we employ, and those we see who are less fortunate.

Take the Lions river/Currys Post offramp off the N3, following directions for Currys Post. Follow a dirt road past 'stonelees Dairy' on the right hand side until you reach a tarred T junction. Turn right onto the Currys Post Road and 1 km on your left, you'll see a sign saying 'the furniture company'
