Fisherman can access several exceptional trout dams and the river within easy walking distance where trophy Brown and Rainbow Trout up to 4.2 kg have been caught. For nature lovers , marked walking trails along the river and through the indigenous forest allowe you to observe the incredible biodiversity of this environment.
Accommodation is available in two lodges and a cottage.

Hlega Manzi Lodge is a comfortable self-catering lodge perched over the spectacular waterfall on the Elands River. A wooden deck overlooks the canopy of indigenous forest with a superb view. The lodge sleeps 8 people in 2 double bedrooms, and 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds, and two bathrooms. Open plan lounge and dining room with welcoming fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen. Linen is provided, with the exception of towels. Serviced daily. Facilities include DSTV, electric blankets, gas heaters and braai facilities.
Milk Parlour Cottage sleeps 2 - cosy, comfortable and well appointed with lounge, kitchen/dining room, bathroom and bedroom, and provides an ideal getaway. A fireplace, DSTV, electric blankets, gas heaters and braai facilities ensure a relaxed and restful stay. Serviced daily.

North Gate Directions:-
From N3, take the Howick North/Tweedie off ramp and head for Tweedie on the R103. Turn right at t-junction, turn left at Dargle/Impendle road, turn left onto D522
From Nottingham Road
Head for Lions River on R103, past Michael House school. Approx 12 kms after Michaelhouse turn right onto Dargle/Impendle road
South Gate Directions
From N3, take the Howick South/Underberg (exit 99) off-ramp and head for Underberg (via Boston) on R617. Pass through Boston village and after 6 kms turn right onto Impendle Road (sign-posted Impendle). After 6,5 kms pass Coquidale Farm on your left. Continue for another 500 metres and the South Gate is on your right (please be careful as this turn off is on a corner)
IMPORTANT - the South Gate is usually locked and arrangements must be made with Tillietudlem management for it to be unlocked (033 234 4226)
